Vicks Waterless Vaporizer Saves the Day {travel tip}

4 Jan

We were headed to Portland to visit my family for Christmas and wouldn’t you know it, our little one came down with a nasty cold a few days before our trip. Thank you, play dates. We thought we had it under control but his cough actually got worse after we arrived, likely due to the flight and more exposure to those lovely airplane germs.

Needless to say, we didn’t bring our humidifier with us (*side note, I had actually been worried about using it again, as I heard the typical humidifiers that use water can cause mold in your walls – yikes!). A friend told me about the Vicks Soothing Vapors Plug-in Waterless Vaporizer so I thought we’d give it a shot. It worked like a charm and was super easy. One package comes with 5 Vicks VapoPads and each one lasts up to 8 hours. You simply put one of the pads in the back of the Vaporizer and plug it in. Our little guy’s cough was better (not gone, but better) by the morning. And, the plug-in is smaller than your palm so it’s easy to take with you when you’re traveling.

Check it out the next time you have a sick kiddo…either at home or on the road.
